This is a brief overview of some of the pieces i've created, that have me the craftsperson I am today.

Furniture

Coffee Table

Materials: Cherry and Hard Maple

This piece is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The country style top is a maple breadboard, highlighting the joinery and giving the table a robust farm style ruggedness. The undercarriage, was designed to feel light in comparison and create a subtle storage space for books, magazines and boardgames.

Pembroke Table

Shield Back Side Chair

Materials: Ash, Poplar, African Mahogany, Cuban Mahogany, Holly.

This set was inspired by two separate federal pieces in the private Kaufman collection. They demonstrate my technical ability to pull from the past and execute ornate hand-crafted furniture. The center splat is hand carved and has been one of the greatest delights in my woodworking journey.

Shaving Mirror

Materials: Soft Maple, Cuban Mahogany

The original design came from an article published by Charles Hayward. At the time when the article was published, this piece was tailored for mens grooming needs. I have adapted the piece to be a  jewelry vault or storage for any personal items. It is the perfect accoutrement for  a bedroom vanity or bureau.

Staying true to the mission statement, we kept much of the original detailing through the replication of the newel posts and balusters. The entryway is painted oak. since the completion of the space, the client and I have collaborated to creat

Vinalhaven Cottage

Tucked away in the woods of Vinalhaven, this quaint cabin represents the realization of my client's long-held dream. Designed and built by the homeowner, the cabin is a thoughtful expression of craftsmanship, with sustainability at the forefront of every decision.

Working from the client's design, I crafted the Douglas fir staircase and center support post, carefully bringing his
